Can I refuse to complete the W-9?

You have the right to step out of the process. ViB will hold any further incentives when the W9 limit of $600 is reached, and only reinstate them once the appropriate tax information is provided. 

ViB Community members can still apply to programs that do not offer incentives. ViB Community members are reminded to declare the “other income” to avoid being subject to IRS penalties.
